How to Check SIM On CNIC 2024? Back in the year 2000 mobile phones became very common in Pakistan. People started using them a lot. But this also led to some problems. Some people were using mobile phones for bad things like illegal activities and attacks.
These bad things were often connected to unregistered SIM cards. To stop these problems, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) made a system in 2009. This system keeps a digital record of people who use SIM cards.
It lets you check how many active SIM cards are registered to your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). If you don’t know how many SIM cards are under your CNIC or want to check or block one of them, keep reading.
How Many SIM Cards Can You Register to One CNIC?
First you need to know a limit to how many SIM cards you can get under your CNIC. PTA says you can have a maximum of 5 SIM cards in your name at once.
If you already have 5 SIM cards and want another one you must first block one of the unused ones to keep only 5.
